Elysium Gardens Kelowna Wedding Tribute
Posted: March 13th, 2009 | Author: darren hull | Filed under: not sorted.. | No Comments »I have had the luxury of working at Elysium for a few years now, and it always amazes my how great it looks year after year. I thought I would share some photos and tell you a little more about them.
Kelowna Wedding Ceremony Location - Elysium Gardens
A stunning location for Kelowna outdoor weddings. 4-acres of magnificent ‘Private Gardens’ tucked away in the scenic orchard lands of Kelowna. Overlooking mountain views and pastoral countryside. Lush perennial flower-beds overflow with fragrant English roses, peonies, hydrangeas, lilacs and lilies. From every direction, all you see is the beauty that your wedding day deserves. ELYSIUM Gardens is truly in a class and a world of its own…and yet, so conveniently located.

Your wedding ceremony can be conducted from the chapel-like gazebo on the crest of the hill overlooking the gardens, under a craggy old apple tree, in the formal European-Style perennial gardens or anywhere in the main garden you may choose. Should you choose to take your vows in the chapel-like gazebo, you will meet your groom by strolling up “Lavender Lane”.

ELYSIUM Gardens is perfect for wedding ceremonies from Mid-Spring when all is fresh and green (April), apple-blossom time (Early May), through the breathless beauty of Summer (June~August) and into the brilliant magic of Autumn (September~October). Each month offers an ever-changing beauty of its own. It is an unsurpassed location in the Okanagan Valley for wedding ceremonies and wedding photographs.

2009 Wedding Bookings - Update
Posted: March 5th, 2009 | Author: darren hull | Filed under: not sorted.. | No Comments »It has been awhile since my last post. Due to a crazy 08 season I needed a little downtime to refocus a little and spend time getting the passion back. After some gear updates, processing experiments, and just shooting again for fun, the passion is back and I feel ready to tackle another season. I had some great chats with an old friend and was fortunate enough to be able to continue to learn and share some techniques with David Anthony. (link to his site)
I still have prime dates available for the 09 wedding season, and the demand has been overwhelming enough to add to the team. More details will come soon, but I am pleased that Rhys will be expanding our sights. With a complementing style he will bring further depth to our services, whether it be as a second shooter or as a prime shooter for events, weddings, and portrait sessions.

Further information and service breakdown will occur shortly, as well as samples of his work.
